Just Plain Special

Throughout our cumulative Lab Rescue volunteer careers many of us have adopted or fostered special needs dogs.  We, unanimously agree that special needs dogs are just plain special.  From time to time new dogs come to us looking for their forever homes and they're special; whether they have been neglected or abused or, they have a physical problem they need extra love and patience to settle into their new home.  That extra effort is worth it as these special dogs seem to be aware that they've met someone who recognizes their true labby qualities shine above the challenges they face.
